This is my final post. Overall, I’m pleased with what I have accomplished. I’ve made everything that I’ve wanted to and I’ve tasted some pretty good candy.
In my opinion, this was a pretty great genius hour.

Week 10: “Hard Candy” & Finale
My hard candy did NOT work. It was sooo sticky.
I guess I didn’t wait until the candy boiled to 300 degrees F because I didn’t own a candy thermometer.
I’m working on my presentation right now. Ms. Englot keeps telling us that the most important rule of this presentation is “don’t bore your audience!”
I like that rule because if there’s ever a fifteen minute slideshow, I always begin to start daydreaming about the story-line of the novel I hope to publish in a couple years. Wait, don’t tell anyone I said that.
Week 9: Cherry Chocolate
My cherry chocolate was okay. The top chocolate didn’t stay on but that was okay because it evened out the chocolate to cherry ratio. I’m sad because it didn’t create the shell I was hoping for.
